Which documents do heirs need to provide?
Heirs usually need to prove that they are entitled to take over the investment. Depending on the case, the following documents may be required:
- Death certificate
- Certificate of inheritance or notarised will with opening protocol
- Identity documents of the heirs
- Information on the desired transfer or payout
- In the case of communities of heirs: consent or power of attorney from all heirs involved
Invesdor guides the heirs through the process and informs them in the specific case which documents are required.
