When am I considered US tax-liable?

You are generally considered US tax-liable if at least one of the following characteristics applies to you:

  • You hold US citizenship.
  • You hold a Green Card.
  • You have your tax residence in the USA.
  • You have a US tax identification number (TIN or SSN).
  • You hold dual citizenship of the USA and another country.
